William Shatner narrates the story of nuclear weapon testing from the original Trinity test that created the first atomic bomb in Alamogordo, New Mexico to the final underground tests conducted before the total ban on testing in 1963. This production includes rare footage of U. S. tests such as the high altitude weapons test that blacked out Hawaii, as well as tests from the U. S.S. R. and the People's Republic of China never before seen by Western audiences.
