In the movie, "Shrek Forever After" Shrek (Mike Myers) whom is now living his supposed "happily ever after" with his wife Fiona (Cameron Diaz) and his children finds himself unable to deal with the constant troubles that come with being a normal father. Eventually he reaches the brink and can't take his new life anymore. This is where Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn) comes into the movie by offering Shrek a deal wherein he erases one day in his life and he gets him back his days as a lone ogre. Obvious to the plot Rumpelstiltskin takes the day Shrek was born thus causing an entirely different future. Now it is up to Shrek to get back his future from Rumpelstiltskin by having Fiona fall in love with him all over again, as only true loves kiss can get him out of his deal.
